The MCA is non-profit community organization that is rooted in the New York City Chinatown community for the last 35 years. Our mission is to promote, celebrate, and support our diverse New York community by organizing community activities, special events, and educational programs with a focus on the Chinese-Burmese culture, language, and history. Our programs and activities, with the continued help of community leaders and organizations, have established a firm foundation to pass the unique experience and culture of the Burmese-Chinese community to future generations.
Our organization consists of hundreds of families, responsible entrepreneurs, distinguished doctors and lawyers, and most of all, our members comprise of the everyday citizens of New York and the Tri-State Area, who express their support for our community by volunteering and promoting the programs and events that our community needs.
We have open door policy to new members from Myanmar born Chinese!
